I think it is time to address something that I feel is the elephant in the room on social media. Sponsored posts–What are they? Let’s start with the basics. A sponsored post is just that, an advertisement #AD. It means a brand has paid me to post X or Y product or service. Ads / sponsored posts also take place on Facebook, YouTube, etc... but I’m primarily talking about IG. For me, as you see on my stories, brands send me lots of goodies to try (skincare products, clothing, etc.), and I sort through them. I analyze their packaging and branding, and decide if it’s something I want to try, use, photograph or donate.
Sponsored posts are what pays some of my bills and allows me to continue blogging and sharing my life with all of you. I dont consider myself as a blogger, at least a good one ahhaha Thanks to my Instagram I have the opportunity to work with so many brands I admire so i just feel very fortunate. My point is, ok sponsored posts are pretty cool and part of my "job" but I am very selective about who I work with (I turn down opportunities quite often if they aren’t the right fit for me), and hope you know that anything I share is genuinely something I believe and can relate. Now I keep my IG feed as professional as I can but always true to my style. Definitely, not my everyday life but yes, what I want to show as Miss Leote.
Cuz I consider myself an everyday girl, aspiring to live my best life. I think that is something many of you can relate to. Anyway, if I truly love something I (Andreia!!!) will share it on IG stories (something I’m not obligated to do). I do also love sharing my mommy side with Rodrigo, the beach, gym, my favorites places to eat, my travels, etc. Hope you guys keep following me and showing me love.
