Hey guys, So Instagram live has really given me a whole new perspective on the type of information my followers/readers are interested. In more personal stuff, fashion posts, diet, blogging tips, workout routine... And let me tell you, I couldn’t be happier about this. I am constantly get asked how I snapped back into shape after giving birth to my baby. To begin I got stay honest, I confess that my genetic helps me a lot coz I am naturally skinny. When I had Rodrigo it was not easy to go back in shape, first coz I had him full time to take care, also had a last minute C-section, then had a neck inflammation which gave me a lot of pain so It took me a while to go back to the gym... Now let me be a girl for a minute– When I was with those extra pounds Yes i wanted to get rid of that little pudge on my stomach as soon as I could, but honestly, I’d rather enjoy my burguers & fries than have a completely flat belly and no burguers. I wish I was taller too.(hahaha cant do nothing about that!) And the last months of 2016 for some stressful reasons I lost so much weigh which now I am trying to gain + curves. So the conclusion I can take is that We are never satisfied girls! There is no perfect body (I sure am not perfect) and I cant be like my favorite model which by the way is, Adriana Lima!
For me a cute workout outfit provides a certain level of motivation to actually work out. I know a lot of people roll their eyes at women who run around town in their workout outfits all day, but I think there should be an exception for those of us who actually did just workout.(and mommies too) And for the record, I love dressing all up but I have zero issues with wearing workout clothes all day even when I don’t work out. They are comfy, what’s the big deal?
Anyway, about my workouts... I’ve always been a serial monogamist, and that goes for my workouts as well. I like to commit to something for an extended amount of time and then part ways and move on after I’m sick of you. I mean it!! 7 years ago it was yoga, bfore Rodrigo was born it was TRX, and after him I started working out with a personal trainer. I still do workout with a PT twice a week. I do no cardio at all, just 10 min to get warm up then our training are basically constituted on lifting weights. I am definetely not a gym rat. Other than that, I try to stay as active as possible in my lifestyle and when you have a 20 months old kid running around all day its impossible not be active you know? So my son is also my gym he makes lose all the kalories. I also try to eat healthy at home, usually I like to have fresh vegetables, fruits, low fat meat, salmon, tuna... One good thing is that I love cooking. But When I go out to eat c´mon I eat what I want, just let me live and enjoy life and good food ok?!
So babes, I really dont have any big secret to my body shape, sorry!(I was born like this hahaha) But one major thing I´ve learned this last year... Health isn't just what you eat, or if you workout... its your thoughts and how you feel inside (thats the most important). Health is how you behave, talk, interact and engade with ppl and life... you can eat all the green stuff in the world and workout every single day but if your thoughts/relatationships/actions aren't healthy neither you will be. Be You, Be Happy, Be Healthy!
